Jan Kaeo
President & CEO of Dale Carnegie Training Hawaii and Guam
Jan grew up in Kalihi and attended Lanakila Elementary and Kawananakoa Intermediate before graduating from Maryknoll High School. She holds a BBA in Accounting and another BA in Speech from the University of Hawaii -Manoa and has earned a Certificate of Organizational Development from the University of Central Missouri.
Since 2011, Jan has been leading as the President/CEO of Dale Carnegie Training Hawaii. She is a certified Dale Carnegie Trainer for Leadership, Sales, Communications, Presentations, and Customized corporate programs. Jan's passion lies in working with individuals and teams to enhance their communication, leadership, customer service, and sales skills, guiding them from good to great in strategy, sales, and service.
She is a two-time past president of the Honolulu Executives Association and is still a board member. She is a former chair of the YMCA-Central Branch board, an advisory board for The Salvation Army, a past board member of SECOH, a current board member of the AFCAC board servicing our Air Force community, and a member of the Hawaii Restaurant Education Foundation Board.
In 2020, Jan was recognized by Pacific Business News as one of Hawaii’s Top Small Business Leaders, as well as earning a Millenium Award from Dale Carnegie & Associates as one of the Top 10 Growth franchisees in North America.
Jan, a dedicated professional, also values her personal life. She is a proud mother of one adult son, Matthew, and shares her life and business journey with her partner, Tom Jones. In her free time, she enjoys reading, learning about everything, traveling, cooking, and listening to music.
