The concept began with a simple question: What does it mean to thrive together?
Through conversations with our SHRM Hawaii team, a vision emerged - one inspired by the people, beauty, and diversity of Hawaiʻi and the idea that growth is strongest when individuals, communities, and organizations are connected.
The elements represent the Districts - Oʻahu, Maui, Hawaiʻi Island, and Kauaʻi - that make up SHRM Hawaii's statewide network. Like the people we serve, each element contributes its own strengths and character. Together, they create a vibrant and resilient collective that symbolizes collaboration, growth, and shared success.
With that vision established, AI was used as a tool to explore creative possibilities and generate initial visual concepts. Those concepts were then refined through human feedback, discussion, and thoughtful iteration before being brought to life by a local Hawaiʻi artist whose expertise added authenticity, meaning, and artistry to the final design.
Just as the future workplace will require us to thoughtfully balance technology with human insight, SHCX26 embraces the idea that innovation is most powerful when guided by people, trust, and purpose.
